The stand rotates a full 360-degrees and is engineered specifically to produce minimal sound when being moved, which reduces the potential for noisy interruptions during sound-sensitive recordings. The spring-loaded articulating arm has a maximum weight capacity of 4.4 lbs and can extend up to 32.25”, allowing it to support the load of extra heavy broadcast mics and large-diaphragm condensers, regardless of the length of extension.
